We rely on donations from the general public to function. Without this, the Haystack network will not be possible. Your donations are used in the following ways:

1 Servers and bandwidth for Haystack as the network grows (and/or servers get blocked by the IRI) we'll have to react fast and build in new capacity. Nodes cost $350/mo and exit points cost 5x that, so this cost sky rockets quickly.

2 Organization costs it's not just me (Austin Heap) anymore, there's a whole team of amazing people working on this 24/7. From legal costs to flights, there's always a bill to pay.

3 Left over money will go to fighting Internet censorship and filtering in other countries. One of the great parts about Haystack is that we can tailor the network for different countries. But one country at a time to start with: Iran.

Will you help us today?

Our current needs include:

* Basic donations are easiest via PayPal & GivingAnon.org or you can mail checks or money orders made out to 'Censorship Research Center' to the PO Box below. Once the 501c3 is approved by the IRS, you'll be able to make tax-deductible donations, but not until that point.

* USB thumb drives to help us distribute Haystack from person to person. They need to be at least 128mb, anything bigger is just spare room. (Still useful!) *NEW* Track our progress!
